Armenia 50000 Dram 2018

Saint Gregory the Illuminator was the first official head of the Armenian Apostolic Church. He was a religious leader who is credited with converting Armenia from paganism to Christianity in 301.

Armenia adopted Christianity in AD 301. 

A commemorative 50000 Dram note was issued in 2001 to mark the occasion of 1700 Years of Christianity.
